Return & Refund Policy

Sleepy Cotton is very proud to say that we have one of the lowest return rates in the United States. Our average return rate is below 0.1% which is unheard of. For most industries, the average return rate is above 30%.

However, if you decide to return your products, we’re here to help. Please make sure to follow our return policy below.

Returns (if applicable)

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase date, we, unfortunately, cannot offer a refund or exchange.  

To be eligible for a return, your product(s) must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition as received
  • In the original packaging

To complete your return, we require:

  • Your return tracking number
  • A receipt or proof of purchase

Return Process

  • Fill out our return request form
  • Pack your product(s) using the original packaging
  • Send the package back to us and let us know your tracking number by emailing our team at: support@sleepycotton.com 
  • Once we receive your package, we will inspect the product(s) and make sure they are not used
  • Once confirmed, we will issue you a refund. The refund portion of the process usually takes a few days.

Returned Items

Though we only accept returns on our items in new condition, we do not resell returned items. Instead, we donate them to local organizations.

Used Returned Items

We cannot accept used products. If you send us products you have already used, your return request will be rejected and products will be returned to you.

Return Shipping

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If you don’t send us your return tracking number, we won’t be able to process your return request.


Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return package is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you have not used the product(s), your request should be approved, no problem.

Refund Request - Approved

If you have not used the returned item, your return request will be approved. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain amount of days.

Refund Request - Rejected

We cannot accept already used or tested products. If you send us already used or tested products, your return request will be rejected and products will be returned to you. No refund will be issued.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again and let us know. The refund process may take up to 15 business days to officially post.

If you do not receive the refund within 15 business days, please contact us at support@sleepycotton.com. We will double-check the status for you.


Damaged Delivery

Although it’s rare, it’s possible for a package to arrive damaged. If this happens, don’t worry. Please take a photo and send it to us at support@sleepycotton.com within 5 business days. We will review it and send you a replacement package as soon as possible.

  • Once we receive your photo, we will send you a new package with a new tracking number.

Wrong Product Received

If you have received a wrong product, please take a photo and send it to us at support@sleepycotton.com. We will review it and send you a replacement package as soon as possible.

  • Once we receive your photo, we will send you a new package with a new tracking number.

Altering Your Order

Once an order is placed, WE WON’T BE ABLE TO MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER. Your package will ship as originally instructed.

  • We won’t be able to change the address
  • We won’t be able to change the quantity
  • We won’t be able to add or remove items

 

When placing an order, please make sure to:

  • Confirm your address is correct
  • Check you have added the correct apt number
  • Verify the quantity of the product chosen
  • If you have a discount code, make sure to add it when finalizing your order

 


Order Cancellation

This is one of the favored online theft strategies widely used by scammers. Due to this, we don’t accept order cancellation requests. Once an order is placed, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CANCEL IT. Your package will ship as originally instructed.

Lost Package Claim

It’s extremely rare for your package to go missing. However, if it happens, please let us know within 5 business days at support@sleepycotton.com.

Lost Package Claim Process

  • Please fill out our lost package claim form
  • We will thoroughly investigate the case for you. We will need to:
    • Confirm your address
    • Receive a UPS or USPS lost package claim number from you
  • Once your lost package claim has been processed, we will send you a gift card (exact amount as your original order placed)

NO REFUND Policy - Lost Packages

With the increasing number of worldwide online theft cases abusing lost package policies, we have decided to apply a very strict NO REFUND policy for lost package claims.

  • If your lost package claim is processed, we will send you a gift card (exact amount as your original order placed)
  • No refund will be issued
  • No replacement package will be sent

Gift Card - Lost Packages

If your lost package claim is processed, you will receive a gift card from us (exact amount as your original order placed). When using it to place your new order, let us know so that we can double-check your address to ensure successful delivery.
